ACR Chicago - Membership Information

It is our goal to make the benefits of membership at ACR-Chicago accessible to as many people and organizations as possible. To that end, we are introducing new membership levels this year. Individuals associated with a group, firm or other organization may wish to consider the Organizational Membership. Those individuals or organizations who are unable to attend our programs may wish to consider the benefits only membership. All membership categories provide members only access on our website including program video library access where you can watch past programs at your convenience.

The membership categories are:

Individual Full Membership ($55)

Includes free program attendance, practitioners directory listing, and program video library access on our website

Individual Benefits Only Membership ($30)

Includes practitioners directory listing and program video library access on website

Organizational Full Membership ($110)

Includes two individuals’ free attendance at each program, organization listing on ACR Chicago website and program video library access on our website

Organizational Benefits Only Membership ($60)

Includes organizational listing on ACR-Chicago website and program video library access on our website

Full time Student Membership ($10)

Includes free program attendance and program video library access on our website

Non-Member and Benefits-Only Member Program Charge ($20)

Joining ACR-Chicago gives you opportunities to:

• Market Your Practice

List your profile on ACR-Chicago's online Practitioner Directory. All members are eligible to be part of the directory. Once you indicate your interest (see membership application) we will contact you for information.

• Members Only Section on Website

Member log-in allows access to opportunities to mediate, greater Chicagoland conflict resolution trainings and events, ADR links, ADR legislative issues, and articles. Program videos, when available, are for members only.

• Keep Informed With Our Programs

Held throughout the year, these forums enable our members to keep abreast of developments in the dispute resolution field and build skills to grow as ADR practitioners. An opportunity for networking is set-aside at each meeting. Programs are usually held in the downtown Chicago area and most are free to all members.

• Take Action Through Membership

Take the opportunity to become involved in the variety of committees that help you make an impact on the Chicago area dispute resolution community.

• Get Connected

Meet your peers and learn what others are doing in the field with the contacts you make as an ACR member. The Mentorship Program matches less experienced ACR members with experienced dispute resolution practitioners. We do this through individual pairings when possible, or through small group sessions hosted by experienced practitioners. New and renewing members who wish to participate in our Mentorship Program should indicate this on the membership application form. Each pairing is unique and determined by the mentor and mentee but may consist of phone calls or face to face meetings. If you would like more information, please contact us.
