Training in ADR: I have completed two forty hour courses in mediation, one at the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) and another at DePaul University Law School, and have been a certified mediator for CCR since 2002. I completed a twenty hour advanced course at Pepperdine University in Complex Construction Dispute Mediation in June, 2005. I have completed the CCR Train the Trainer course and help evaluate and train new mediators who take the CCR Skills course. I am also a certified mediator in the Circuit Court of Cook County Major Case Court Annexed Civil Mediation Program and a certified arbitrator for the Circuit Court of Cook County.
Experience in Years: I have been mediating for four years.
Number of Cases in the Last Three Years: I have mediated over 150 cases in the following areas: consumer and commercial disputes, breach of contract, landlord/tenant matters, juvenile cases, construction and community disputes. I have participated in CCR's court-referred mediation programs at the Daley Center in Chicago, Illinois; the Fourth and Fifth Municipal Districts in Maywood and Bridgeview; as well as in juvenile, community, and Branch Court matters.
I have arbitrated over 25 cases in the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program.

I am an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University, College of Law, where I teach Mediatiion. I also teach and coach the mediation skills class at DePaul's Center for Continuing Education. In addition, I train and coach mediation skills classes at the Center for Conflict Resolutiion. I was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1977 and practiced real estate and general corporate law at the firm of Sachnoff and Weaver as an associate and partner for eight years.
